Founder, Chief Engineering Officer & Sustainability Advisor
Yousaf is the founder of Clarisk. He is a chemical and process engineer completing his PhD at Adelaide University, where his research integrates ESG principles into process design from the earliest stages, combining life cycle assessment, techno economic analysis, social sustainability, circular economy thinking, machine learning and large language models. He is a certified LCA practitioner, certified in Sweden, and holds ESG certifications from the United Kingdom and the United States, and has completed an LLM summer school at the University of Oxford. He leads Clarisk's engineering practice and sustainability methodology, with a record of peer reviewed publications and international collaborations.
Co Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Hassan is the architect of the Clarisk Suite. He is a technologist with multiple years of experience in software engineering, data systems and applied AI. Hassan leads development of the Clarisk LCA and TEA platforms, including the retrieval augmented generation engine that makes Clarisk LCA the first source transparent, bring your own data LCA tool of its kind built in Australia. His focus is software that is powerful enough for experts and simple enough for first time users.
Technical Lead
Mayank leads the technical delivery of the Clarisk platform. He brings multiple years of experience in software development, data engineering, machine learning and large language model (LLM) applications, and is responsible for platform reliability, open source database integration and the pipeline that turns raw literature and client data into structured, citable life cycle inventories. He works at the meeting point of engineering rigour and product usability.
Academic Advisor
Dr Nam Nghiep Tran is an academic and researcher at Adelaide University with extensive experience in chemical engineering, process intensification and sustainable process design. As Clarisk's Academic Advisor, he guides the scientific rigour of our methodologies and strengthens the bridge between university research and commercial application, keeping Clarisk's tools and assessments at the frontier of sustainability science.
